IDF 2012: Including enterprise models

Dadi Perlmutter has just announced that Intel expects to have 20 plus Atom baseds tablet that are even ready for enterprise.

Intel thinks doctors will use tablets to show pregnant women their offspring on ultrasound, among other things, of course.

The demo is on Windows 8 and it didn’t work on the first tablet, but it worked on the second one. We are not sure whether Intel or Microsoft should get the blame for this glitch.

So much about the tablets being market ready, but Dadi did say that they already have 20 plus design wins and that’s what matters.
